About Rahinnane Castle
Ruins of a tower house that local legend tells was once held by the vikings because it was so easy to defend. During the reconquest of Ireland (1649-1653) it was laid in ruins. Inside you can still see a staircase in the wall, as vault and a dazzling arcade .
