Raven Cliff Falls
Raven Cliff Falls is a distinctive waterfall within the Chattahoochee–Oconee National Forest. The trail follows Dodd Creek through a shaded forest, passing several smaller cascades before reaching the main waterfall, which drops through a narrow split in a tall rock cliff. This unusual formation makes it especially appealing for long exposure photography, particularly after rainfall when water flow is stronger. The round trip hike is about five miles and is considered a moderate difficulty hike. The trailhead is easily accessible with ample parking, just off GA-348 (Richard B. Russell Scenic Highway). Spring and fall provide the most comfortable conditions and best color. (Helen, Georgia, United States)
