Remai Modern is one of Canada's most architecturally striking museums, sitting right on the South Saskatchewan River with a bold, angular facade that rewards wide-angle shooting from multiple directions. The building's cantilevered volumes and geometric lines photograph well from the riverbank path below, where you can frame the structure against the sky or reflect it in the water during calm conditions. A 24-70mm or wide-angle lens works well here. Early morning gives you soft, even light with minimal crowds, and blue hour is particularly strong when the interior lights glow through the large glass sections against a darkening sky. Shooting from the pedestrian bridge nearby offers an elevated perspective that puts the building in context with the river. The surrounding River Landing plaza also provides clean foreground space for low-angle compositions that emphasize the building's dramatic overhang. (Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada)
