Royal Botanical Gardens - Rock Garden
The Rock Garden, part of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Hamilton’s Waterdown area, is a masterfully designed landscape that merges horticultural beauty with natural rock formations. Featuring tiered flower beds, reflective water features, winding stone pathways, and mature trees, the garden offers a wide range of subjects for garden and macro photography throughout the seasons. Spring and early summer are particularly vibrant, with tulips, daffodils, and flowering shrubs in full bloom. Photographers will appreciate the dynamic topography, which allows for creative angles and layered compositions. The garden is open daily with an admission fee, and tripods are generally permitted but best used during off-peak hours to avoid crowds. (Waterdown, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada)
