Ruine Hochburg
Ruine Hochburg, set on a hill above Emmendingen, is one of the largest castle ruins in the Black Forest region and provides sweeping views of the surrounding valleys and vineyards. The remaining towers, stone walls, and gateways create a dramatic setting for architectural and landscape photography, especially in warm evening light that highlights the castle’s rugged textures. The site is accessible by a short uphill walk from a nearby parking area and includes several paths leading through the ruins and along the ramparts.
