Saltburn Cliff Tramway
Saltburn Cliff Tramway is the oldest working water-powered inclined tramway in the world. It was built to transport passengers up and down the steep north-facing cliff behind the town's pier. It replaced an 1870 vertical cliff lift on the same spot, and remains in regular use between March and October. (Saltburn-by-the-Sea, England)
