Schloss Neuschwanstein Viewpoint
Neuschwanstein Castle was built in the late 19th century for King Ludwig II of Bavaria. It is perched on a hill overlooking Hohenschwangau. Most of the rooms were never finished and after the King's death in 1886, the castle was taken over by the state. One of the best locations to photograph the area is from Marienbrücke, a bridge a short hike above the castle, with its stunning view of both the castle and the surrounding valley.
