Shippen Manor
Shippen Manor was built in 1755 on an estate of four thousand acres for Dr. William Shippen II and his brother Joseph Shippen II. The brothers owned the nearby Oxford Furnace and would manage the furnace from this home. The manor was featured on an episode of Ghost Hunters that aired September 8, 2010. -from Wikipedia
