About SS City of Adelaide Shipwreck
Passenger steam ship that was launched in 1863. It was run aground here in 1916. The sunken hull of the vessel has become an artificial island hosting a variety of plant and bird life approximately 300 metres (330 yd) off the shore of Cockle Bay.
