Staunton Harold Church
Staunton Harold Church was built in 1653 for Sir Robert Shirley. This historic chapel features intricate stonework on the exterior and a beautiful wood paneled interior. It was the private chapel of the Shirley’s who lived in the nearby Hall for generations. Set in a beautiful landscaped area with the lake and rolling wooded hills of Leicestershire as a backdrop it really is quite a photogenic gem. (Ashby-de-la-Zouch, England)
