Stoke Minster
There has been a church on this site since Saxon times. The present church of St Peter ad Vincula was built in 1830, replacing the previous medieval church. The church was given Minster status in 2005 in recognition of its ministry to the wider city of Stoke-on-Trent. The church contains memorials to many of the Master Potters who made 'The Potteries' world famous, and the most famous of all, Josiah Wedgwood, is buried in the churchyard. (Stoke-on-Trent, England)
