About Stony Point Penguin Colony

Stony Point Nature Reserve is home to one of the largest successful breeding colonies of African Penguin in the world. Roughly 3 600 penguins now live at Stony Point's old whaling station, increasing from the two who originally ventured here in 1985. (Bettys Bay, Western Cape, South Africa)
