Stratosphere Tower
Rising over 1,100 feet above the Las Vegas Strip, the Stratosphere Tower gives you one of the most dramatic urban vantage points in the American West. From the observation deck, you can shoot sweeping panoramas of the Strip stretching south toward the Luxor pyramid and Mandalay Bay, with the Mojave Desert and Spring Mountains filling the background. A wide-angle lens works well for capturing the full sweep of the city grid, while a telephoto lets you isolate specific casino rooftops and signs below. Night is when this location truly delivers, as the neon and LED lights of the Strip create a dense river of color that glows best in the blue hour just after sunset when there is still some ambient light in the sky.
