Donald considers this structure the pinnacle of his architectural career, this ruin once was originally capped by a large concrete conical roof. A local building inspector identified cracks and at great expense R.C. Donald replaced it with a wooden roof. A fire eventually destroyed the roof in 1928 and it was abandoned thereafter.
