Table Cape Lookout is one of those spots where you get a bit of everything without having to wander far. Sitting up on a flat topped headland, it gives you wide views over the coastline, with steep cliffs dropping down to the ocean and farmland stretching out behind you. From the lookout, you can also see the Table Cape Lighthouse, which adds a nice focal point if you want to bring a bit of structure into your compositions. The area is easy to access, so you can move around and try different angles, whether you are focusing on the cliffs, the patterns in the fields, or lining things up with the lighthouse in the distance. If you visit in spring, the surrounding tulip fields bring in strong color that can really change the feel of your shots. Sunrise works especially well here, with soft light coming in over the land and catching the edges of the cliffs, though it is also worth exploring in different conditions if you want something moodier. It is a relaxed, versatile stop if you are exploring the north coast of Tasmania. (Table Cape, Tasmania, Australia)
