Tarraleah Lookout & Tarraleah Power Station

Tarraleah Lookout is a unique roadside viewpoint above the Tarraleah Power Station in central Tasmania. From this elevated position, you can look down over the historic hydroelectric station, steep forested slopes, and the deep valley carved by the Derwent River. The layered terrain, winding access roads, and industrial structures set within rugged wilderness create strong compositions that combine landscape and engineering elements.
