Taylor Mountain Regional Park and Open Space Preserve

Taylor Mountain Regional Park sits high atop of Taylor mountain giving it amazing panoramic views of the city and distant peaks. The park features sweeping grasslands, oak woodlands, several creeks, and habitats for a variety of wildlife. The park offers a variety of scenic trails. Two routes - the Sky Lupine/Eastern and Western Routes - lead to the mountain's mid-section, with the Sky Lupine/Eastern Route continuing on to the summit for a 1,100-foot elevation gain. The Todd Creek and Red Tail trails offer less-strenuous hikes through oak woodlands. (Santa Rosa, California, USA)
