About Tenterfield Cork Tree
Tenterfield Cork Tree is a giant Cork Tree that was brought out from England in a jam jar in 1861. It still grows today in Wood Street and is believed to be one of the largest of its kind in Australia (its canopy extends across the entire street). While the tree is now located on private property and is fenced off, it can still be conveniently viewed from the public street. (Tenterfield, New South Wales, Australia)
