About The Mortimer E. Cooley Bridge
The Mortimer E. Cooley Bridge is an impressive white lattice structure bridge in the forests of Michigan. Spanning the Pine River, this bridge is highly photogenic and features a well-maintained viewing platform. The Cooley bridge is best photographed in the fall months when the surrounding foliage begins to change adding colourful contrast to the white lines of the bridge. The bridge was built in 1934 and is part of East Michigan Highway 55. (Wellston, Michigan, USA)
