Tobico Marsh Bird Watching Tower
The Tobico Marsh Nature Area is home to two observation towers that offer and an amazing view looking out over the wetland and bird habitats. The Nature Area is filled with scenic trails that wind through the marsh offering many photogenic views. Thousands of waterfowl use the area every spring and fall. Many species of waterfowl and marsh birds nest in the area, including such rare Michigan nesters as the ruddy duck, redhead duck, and yellow-headed blackbird. In addition, the forest is often alive with warblers and other migratory songbirds in the spring. (Bay City, Michigan, USA)
