About Torpedownia
Torpedownia was a torpedo assembly hall from World War II built on the bottom of the reservoir. It was also equipped for trial shooting. After the war, the last section of the pier at the torpedo house was destroyed to make access to the building difficult. It is visible from the shore of a remote beach in Gdynia’s Babie Doły district, but more easily photographed from a boat.
