Triglav Summit
Triglav, with an elevation of 2,863.65 metres, is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps. It is also the centrepiece of Triglav National Park, Slovenia's only national park. The ascent to Mount Triglav is considered an intermediate level climb. It’s not very technical, but it has some steep and exposed sections in the last part that will probably require the use of a rope. There is a great description of the different hike options here -- www.explore-share.com/blog/climbing-mount-triglav-slovenia/ (Triglav National Park, Slovenia)
