Trusetaler Wasserfall
Trusetaler Wasserfall is a man-made waterfall that was built in 1865 and is the highest one in the Thuringian Forest. The waterfall is only in operation from Easter to the end of October. In the winter months, the water supply is shut off to prevent frost damage to the rock backdrop. A circular hike that starts with 228 steps at the waterfall leads scenically through the area.
