Uniacke Estate Museum Park

Uniacke Estate Museum Park - Photo by Shawn M. Kent1 / 1

An estate that was once the home of Richard John Uniacke, this lovely landmark is a must-visit for visitors to the area. Built in the early 1800s, the estate is now maintained as a museum and both the house, its interior and the grounds are lovely. Uniacke was Attorney General from 1797 until his death in 1830 and the nearby town is named in his honour. The estate covers several hundred acres and features the house, carriage house, out buildings all situated on a serene lake. (Uniacke, Nova Scotia, Canada)
