Vance Creek Bridge
Vance Creek Bridge is a soaring arch bridge that was originally built as a logging rail bridge. The bridge now sits abandoned after it was decommissioned in the 1970s, during the decline of logging on the Olympic Peninsula. At 347 feet in height, it is the second-highest railroad arch in the United States after the nearby High Steel Bridge. The bridge is not in a safe condition to access (and there may be barriers) but there are amazing views from the eastern end of the bridge and a scenic viewpoint to look out over the gorge. This is also a great spot to experiment with drone photography so you can shoot the view from the bridge while keeping your feet on safe ground. (Shelton, Washington, USA)
