Vanšu Tilts is a cable-stayed bridge crossing the Daugava River, connecting the city centre with the left bank. It was one of the first cable stayed bridges of its kind in the former Soviet Union and remains one of Riga’s most recognizable modern structures. The bridge features a single tall pylon with fan like cables stretching down to the roadway, creating strong lines that stand out against the sky. From the riverbanks, you can frame the bridge with the water below and the city skyline around it. Its central location makes it easy to access, with multiple angles available from both sides of the river and nearby paths. (Riga, Latvia)
