Vaseux Lake
Vaseux Lake is a shallow freshwater lake sitting along the Okanagan Highway. The lake features a variety of wetland habitats along its shoreline that support large populations of migratory bird species (including trumpeter swan, great blue heron, western screech-owl, yellow-breasted chat, and the red-listed Lewis's woodpecker). Vaseux Lake Provincial Park sits at the northeastern end of the lake providing many photogenic views and protected landscapes. (Okanagan Falls, British Columbia, Canada)
