View of Morans Falls

The Morans Falls is a dramatic plunge waterfall as the Morans Creek tumbles over a steep cliff. The waterfall fluctuates between a thunderous roar after rain, to a gentle trickle in the drier months.The falls are slowly working through the softer rock beneath, causing rockfalls and reshaping the cliff face. The falls are best viewed/shot from across the gorge as you continue on the trail past the top of the waterfall. There is an amazing shooting view over the valley from the top of the falls.
