Whaleback Light Observation Point, located at the end of the pier in Fort Foster Park, provides a direct view of Whaleback Lighthouse standing guard at the mouth of the Piscataqua River. The lighthouse rises from a rocky islet, framed by rolling waves and a vast ocean horizon that make it an excellent subject for seascape and maritime photography.
