Windmill De Zoeker
Windmill De Zoeker (The Seeker) is an oil windmill. Its purpose was to press seeds such as linseed and rapeseed into vegetable oil.The mill was built in 1672 in Zaandijk. The mill continued with few interruptions until 1968, when it was moved to the Schans. This is one of line of historic windmills that sit along the Zaan River in this area.
