Ynysypandy Slate Mill

Ynysypandy Slate Mill was originally the slate mill for the quarry about 3 miles up the valley. The strange embankment that leaves the mill is actually the remains of the tramway bringing slate down from the quarry. The big hole inside the mill is the spot where the waterwheel that powered the mill would have been. (Cwmystradllyn, Wales)
