Zauberwald
Zauberwald, or “Magic Forest,” is a fairytale-like woodland in Ramsau bei Berchtesgaden, shaped by ancient rockfalls and crystal-clear mountain streams. Photographers are drawn to its moss-covered boulders, twisting roots, and filtered light that creates a moody, atmospheric setting year-round. Hintersee lake at the forest’s edge provides stunning reflections of the surrounding Alps, especially during early morning when mist and calm water amplify the scene’s serenity.
