8 Wing Trenton Runway (East End)
The eastern end of the 8 Wing Trenton runway is a reliable spot to watch aircraft on final approach. Along White Road the planes pass by at low altitude as they line up with the runway, giving a close and direct view. There’s no formal parking area, but it’s possible to stop briefly along the roadside to take photos. Because of this, it’s important to stay aware of traffic and keep well to the side of the road while shooting. The open surroundings and straight approach path make it easy to track incoming aircraft, with different positions along the road offering slightly different angles.
