About Abandoned Carbide Mill
The Thomas “Carbide” Mill ruins. Built in the early 1900s by a wealthy engineer the building was used to perform a number of chemical experiments. Notably the discovery of a method to produce calcium carbide for which Thomas was nicknamed.
