Akmens Tilts is a central bridge in the heart of Riga that crosses the Daugava River, linking the Old Town with the left bank of the city. Opened in 1957, it was built as a major traffic route and remains one of the main crossings in Riga today. From here, you get one of the best sight lines toward Riga’s Old Town skyline, including church spires and historic buildings along the waterfront. The wide span and open surroundings make it easy to frame both the bridge itself and the city beyond, especially at sunset or after dark when lights reflect off the water. (Riga, Latvia)
