Alley Spring and Mill

Alley Mill and Spring is an iconic and brightly coloured mill that is part of Ozark's Scenic Riverways. Constructed in 1894 it remains a popular photography destination and is probably one of the most photographed locations in the area. With beautiful turquoise waters in a forested setting, photographers can find plenty of great angles. The mill is also open to visitors most days of the week. As an interesting historical side note the mill was originally unpainted, then painted green, and finally the bright red colour that it is today. The mill is a short walk from the Alley General Store and Visitor Centre.  (Eminence, Missouri, USA)
