Arenas de Barcelona is a striking circular former bullring, now a shopping center, whose ornate Moorish-Revival facade and copper dome make it one of the most distinctive pieces of architecture in the city. For exterior shots, position yourself across the roundabout at Plaça d'Espanya to capture the full facade with the Venetian towers framing the background, or get closer to isolate the detailed brickwork and arched windows with a 50mm or short telephoto lens. The free rooftop terrace wraps around the entire building and gives you sweeping 360-degree views toward Montjuïc, the Fira towers, and the city grid stretching to the sea. Golden hour light from late afternoon catches the dome beautifully and adds warmth to the terrace panoramas. The rooftop is accessed by external escalators and elevators, so it is easy to reach with a tripod if you want to shoot the city at blue hour. (Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain)
