Bølgen (The Wave)

Bølgen (The Wave) is a unique apartment complex that features five white crests running along the waterfront. The building's design was inspired by the hills around Vejle Fjord. White tile keeps it bright even under the greyest Danish skies. You can easily walk the waterfront promenade and shoot along the row. The crests only stack up beautifully from many angles, so take your time and explore all the views the waterfront has to offer. The eastern side faces the fjord and sits in the beautiful sunrise light, and the marina basin is usually the perfect spot to experiment with reflection photography if you get low. After dark the building is lit, so blue hour is worth the waiting for. Everything inside is private housing, so you will only be able to capture the building's exteriors. The promenade and waterfront is a public space so feel free to take your time and experiment with compositions. (Vejle, Southern Denmark, Denmark)
