Carolinenturm
Carolinenturm is a 26 m high observation tower, which was built in 1909 in honour of the Grand Duchess Caroline of Saxony-Weimar-Eisenach. You can climb 106 steps to the viewing platform, to have an amazing view of Weimar, Kiliansroda, Mechelroda, Mellingen, the Thuringian Basin, and with good visibility to the Kyffhäuser and Harz. The chain of the Thuringian Forest can be seen in the south. (Kiliansroda, Germany)
