Casa Batlló
Casa Batlló was designed by Antoni Gaudí, and is considered one of his masterpieces. Located in Barcelona Spain, it is a major landmark & a busy tourist spot. Built between 1904 and 1906, this renowned building stands out with its vibrant ceramic tiles, unusual tracery, irregular oval windows, and sculptural stonework. The façade, inspired by the legend of Saint George and the dragon, resembles a living organism with its sinuous lines and organic shapes. Photographers will find a rich palette of textures, colors, and forms to explore, both outside and within the building. The interior's design, full of curves and natural shapes, presents even more opportunities for imaginative photography. Consider visiting at different times of the day to capture the play of light on the façade, and don't forget to explore the rooftop with its chimneys shaped like medieval knights.
