Château d'Havré
Château d'Havré (Havré Castle) is a medieval castle that dates back to the early 1200s and now sits in ruins. It was originally used as an advanced defensive post for the town of Mons, along the Haine river. This imposing moated fortress has had a storied history of seiges and abandonment until the last decade. Now it is slowly being re-built into its former glory. (Havré, Mons, Belgium)
