Davis Lake large and shallow lake in the heart of the Deschutes National Forest. It is quite photogenic - surrounding by lush forests paired with a rugged mountain backdrop. The lake is easily accessible along the Cascade Lakes Scenic Byway, which does close during the winter months (usually December to March). (Crescent, Oregon, USA)
