This narrow, single-lane wooden bridge stretches out over the water toward Bull Island, offering a strong natural leading line that draws the eye toward the horizon and the distant Dublin Mountains. The weathered timber planks and simple railings give the structure a raw, historic character that photographs well in almost any light. Shoot from low on the bridge looking outward to emphasize the perspective, or position yourself on the shoreline to the side to capture the full span reflected in the tidal flats below. Early morning is ideal, when mist often sits over the water and the light is soft and directional; the golden hour before sunset also works well for warm tones along the wood. The bridge is easily accessible on foot, and a wide to mid-range lens handles most compositions comfortably. Watch the tides, as the surrounding mudflats look their best when partially flooded.
