The Convention Centre Dublin is a striking piece of contemporary architecture sitting on the north bank of the River Liffey, its curved glass facade and illuminated interior making it one of the most photogenic modern buildings in the city. Shoot from the south bank of the Liffey for the strongest compositions, using the river as a foreground element and positioning yourself to capture the reflections on the water. A slightly wider angle works well here to take in the full sweep of the building alongside the surrounding quays. Evening is the best time to visit, when the interior lights glow through the curved glass and the last of the natural light balances nicely against the artificial illumination. The boardwalk along the north quay also gives you a closer perspective for detail shots of the facade's geometry. (Dublin, Ireland)
