Fanal Forest is a magical forest in the northern part of Madeira Island. Tucked away in the heart of the forest is a small seasonal pond surrounded by unique trees that have been shaped by the winds. Often, but not always, there is mysterious fog in the forest amongst the 600 year old trees. (Madeira Island, Portugal)
