Fort Perch Rock
Fort Perch Rock is an imposing Red sandstone fort that was built between 1826 and 1829 in case of French invasion. The fort sits just offshore and during high tide becomes its own island. The Fort is now home to a number of permanent maritime and aviation based museum displays, frequent guest exhibitions and cultural events. (Wallasey, England)
