Gole del Drago is a natural canyon, formed by the Frattina river that has worn a unique path through the limestone rock walls creating waterfalls and pools as it drops. The river is very weather dependant - by late summer it may have even run dry in between rains. (Ficuzza, Province of Palermo, Italy)
