About Grwyne Fawr Reservoir Dam
Grwyne Fawr Reservoir was completed in 1928 and has the capacity to hold 400,000,000 imperial gallons. The stone dam in quite an imposing and has an incredible view over the surrounding valley. The walk from the Black Mountain (Mynydd Du) Car Park takes roughly an hour and has many scenic/photogenic views along the way including what appear to be a few abandoned buildings.
