Halibut Point State Park
Halibut Point State Park is a coastal park that features a rugged shoreline and historic granite quarry. The centerpiece of the park is Babson Farm Quarry, a large water filled quarry surrounded by rocky ledges and coastal vegetation, offering elevated views over the Atlantic Ocean. Photographers can capture textured granite formations, tidal pools, and expansive sea views, especially during sunrise when light spreads across the water. Walking trails loop around the quarry and along the coast, providing multiple vantage points and open compositions with big skies and natural foregrounds.
