About Kakahi Falls
Kakahi Falls is the largest hot waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere. It is located in the privately owned geothermal reserve Hell's Gate, so there may be an admission charge to visit these falls. In pre-European times the waterfall was a sacred site for local Maori.
